The White Stag

A young woodcutter with a lantern meets an enormous white stag in a misty autumn birch forest as the falling leaves turn to golden light, semi-realistic animated style.

A Google Flow prompt, shown with the unedited 10-second clip it made (16:9).

The prompt

Semi-realistic animated adventure-film look, painterly detail, warm natural light. 0-3 s: a misty birch forest in autumn; a young woodcutter holding a lantern freezes as a soft pale glow moves through the mist between the trees; no other animals, only the stag appears. 3-7 s: an enormous white stag with glowing pale antlers steps out and lowers its head to the lantern. 7-10 s: the falling leaves around them turn to drifting golden light. Slow push-in, then close-up on the stag's eye. Sound: crunching leaves, a soft breath, a warm swelling choir. Full-frame 16:9 with no letterbox bars. No subtitles, no on-screen text, no watermark, no logos. 16:9, 10 seconds.

What each part of the prompt does

Look

The opening line asks for a "Semi-realistic animated adventure-film look" with "warm natural light". That warmth suits autumn leaves and a lantern in mist. Stating the look before the action also gives the stag's pale glow a defined style to sit inside.

Timed beats

Beat one is unusual: besides the woodcutter and the pale glow, it adds "no other animals, only the stag appears", a negative note placed where the forest is set up. Beat two is the stag stepping out and lowering its head. Beat three turns the leaves to light.

Camera

"Slow push-in, then close-up on the stag's eye." The push-in moves toward the meeting as the stag steps out. Ending on its eye keeps the final beat intimate while the golden leaves drift through the frame.

Sound

"Sound: crunching leaves, a soft breath, a warm swelling choir." Crunching leaves fit the woodcutter freezing in place. The soft breath belongs to the stag lowering its head. The choir swells as the leaves turn to light.

Rules

No letterbox bars, so the forest fills the frame. No subtitles, no on-screen text, no watermark, no logos, so the frame carries only the scene. "16:9, 10 seconds" closes the prompt with the shape and length.

Second by second

1. 0–3 s: a misty birch forest in autumn; a young woodcutter holding a lantern freezes as a soft pale glow moves through the mist between the trees; no other animals, only the stag appears.
2. 3–7 s: an enormous white stag with glowing pale antlers steps out and lowers its head to the lantern.
3. 7–10 s: the falling leaves around them turn to drifting golden light.

Make it yours

• White wolf: Replace "an enormous white stag with glowing pale antlers" with "an enormous white wolf with glowing pale eyes", then change each other "stag" in the prompt to "wolf".
• Winter birch forest: Change "a misty birch forest in autumn" to "a snowy birch forest in winter" and "the falling leaves" to "the falling snowflakes".
• Vertical for Reels: Change both 16:9 mentions to 9:16. Replace "Slow push-in" with "Slow push-in framing the stag's full height", so the antlers fit the tall frame before the close-up on the eye.
